John was born and raised in West Michigan. After graduating from East Grand Rapids High School, John attended Michigan State University and graduated with a B.A. in Supply Chain Management with Honor. Next and while living in Chicago, IL, John worked for the largest international freight forwarder and contract logistics provider in the world while also attending graduate business school at Loyola University, where he obtained his MBA with concentrations in International Business and Entrepreneurship. John has since held various positions within Almond Products, Inc., headquartered in Spring Lake, MI., and is currently the sole Director / Chairman and acting EVP. John resides in Spring Lake, MI, with his wife Sarah and enjoys spending time on the water with friends and family, kiteboarding, snowmobiling, and other outdoor activities. John is a member of the Sons of the American Legion and serves as the Chapter President and a Board Member for the Folds of Honor Michigan Chapter.

Retired Founder and President of Parallax Technology Corporation. He returned to his hometown of Grand Haven, Michigan, in 2005. Mark served in the Army in Vietnam with the 101st Airborne Division during 1960-70, then received a BS degree in Business Administration from Grand Valley State University in 1973. Upon retirement, he was a member of the local VFW, DAV, and American Legion. At the VFW, he helped to shore up the membership and finances of the VFW. In 2007, he began playing in the Grand Haven Golf Course (Birthplace of the Folds of Honor) Folds of Honor Fundraiser. In 2014, he co-founded the Folds of Honor Michigan Chapter with Dr. John Rooney. As a disabled Vet, he has supported our fallen and disabled Vets as a service officer (helping vets thru the VA benefits process), financial scholarships to Grand Valley Nursing School for outbound summer students helping Vets and children with special needs, also providing scholarships for Veteran’s attending GVSU.

A native of Grand Haven, Michigan, Chris Streng is a proud graduate of Grand Haven High School and the United States Naval Academy. Streng graduated from USNA in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science and was commissioned an Ensign in the U.S. Navy. Streng served onboard USS REUBEN JAMES (FFG-57), deploying in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. Following 6 years of active duty and attaining the rank of Lieutenant, Streng returned to his roots in Grand Haven where he worked for 14 years in operational leadership roles with JSJ Corporation. In 2020 Streng started his own business as a financial and investment advisor for businesses and families.
Streng is an advocate for youth development and giving of one’s time, talent, and treasure in their local community. Streng coached youth soccer for several years, and has served as a member of various non-profit boards including: Chair of the Tri Cities Family YMCA, Treasure of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Grand Haven School Board Trustee, Past President of the Rotary Club of Grand Haven, and Co-Chair with his wife, Kristi, of the Reimagine Project (a community funded and volunteer built all-inclusive ADA compliant playground). Streng currently serves as the Folds of Honor, Michigan Chapter, Treasurer.
Streng’s military awards include the Navy Commendation Medal (2 awards), Navy Achievement Medal, National Defense Medal (2 awards), Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, and other unit awards. Streng is a recipient of the Dr. Elizabeth Curtis Young Professional Award and the Greater Ottawa County United Way Volunteer of the Year Award.
Chris and his wife, Kristi, have 7 amazing children and reside in Grand Haven, Michigan.

Doug Bell is a Cadillac, Michigan Native and now resides in Grand Haven. A 1989 Graduate of Ferris State University’s Professional Golf Management program and a 30+ year member of the PGA of America, Doug has been recognized by the Michigan PGA with the Michigan Section’s Resort Merchandiser of the year award, as well as being selected as the Michigan Section Patriot Award recipient three times. Doug’s unique family tie to Folds of Honor allows him to understand the impact that Folds has on families and provides him a background and foundation to speak to groups and educate others on Folds of Honor Scholarships and the Folds Mission.
A career that has seen Doug working within the Golf Industry in Dallas, TX, Kennebunkport, ME, Birmingham, AL, and West Palm Beach, FL, along with many years running courses and resorts in Michigan, Doug now is the PGA General Manager at American Dunes Golf Club, the birthplace of the Folds of Honor Foundation.

Madonna calls Michigan her home now after living around the country, as well as abroad, as a U.S. Air Force spouse.
Madonna’s background is in the non-profit world in key areas of foreign policy, community festivals, and organizations benefiting those in marginalized populations. She has also worked for several years as a campaign organizer. Her areas of expertise include directing the operations, fundraising, and events of the organizations for which she worked. She has also served in various volunteer capacities on multiple boards of directors in West Michigan.
Madonna lives in Spring Lake with her husband Scott, a retired Air Force pilot, and enjoys traveling the globe, being an average golfer, and reading great books.

Scott and his family, Lisa, Hillary, Griffin, and Carley, are from Grand Haven, and he grew up playing at Grand Haven Golf Club (The Birthplace of the Folds of Honor), where he was a five-time Club Champion. He was fortunate to participate in the initial Folds of Honor event on July 19, 2006. His love for the game, education of our country’s youth, and reverence for the Nation’s veterans are his primary motivations for continuing to serve the Folds of Honor. Scott did his undergraduate studies at Michigan State University and held an MBA from Grand Valley State University. He is employed at MillerKnoll as Director of Contracts.

Mr. Carlos Seise was born to sing. His career began at the Conservatory of Music in Puerto Rico. Upon completing formal schooling, Mr. Seise continued his studies under the inspirational teachings of the world-renowned tenor, Placido Domingo.
Since beginning his independent career, Mr. Seise has sung in many famous theatres spanning multiple continents, including Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Americas. Some of these theatres include Carnegie Hall, Grand Rex Theater, Avery Fisher Hall, Antonio Paoli Hall, Esperanza Iris Theater, and the Royal Palace Theater, just to name a few. He has also entertained in sporting venues that include the likes of Roberto Clemente Coliseum, WiZink Center, American Airlines Arena, Jose Pachencho Romero, Tetelo Vargas, and Hiram Bithorn.
Mr. Seise has shared the stage with distinguished luminaries in the music world such as Placido Domingo, Eva Marton, Diana Soviero, Alfredo Krauss, Mirela Freni, Pablo Elvira, Justino Diaz, as well as renowned orchestra conductors including Anton Guadagno, Eugene Kohn, Roberto Abbado, Eduardo Muhler, and Teo Alcantara as well as many others.
Mr. Seise has entertained crowds of 20,000 and 90,000 people on multiple occasions. He has an event taking place in November 2023 in Manila, Philippines, that is estimated to have nearly 500,000 people that will be present. His upcoming concerts will take place in countries including Greece, Italy, Canada, Argentine, Spain, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and the United Kingdom.
Mr. Carlos Seise is also a Good Will Ambassador of the United Nations and the President of his nonprofit Global Educational Equipping, plus nine schools in the rural countryside of Argentina.
