The Michigan chapter of the Folds of Honor Foundation was formed because the first event was held at the Grand Haven Golf Club in 2006. That event was held in August 2006 and raised $8,513. Those funds were used to help fallen heroes in Michigan.
Since that time, Grand Haven Golf Club has established itself as the birthplace of The Folds of Honor Foundation. We have raised in excess of $200,000 for the cause since that first tournament.
A group of Grand Haven veterans and supporters of the Foundation came together to establish the Michigan chapter. We sincerely believe that Michigan can be a huge benefactor to the national organization
